Abstract: Stress is one of the most characteristic expressions today, this is a socio-productive problem that has been very noticeable in health workers, it refers to any physiological reaction that the human being presents when he is in a state of nervous tension, this is the result of various contexts in the workplace or personal: overwork, anxiety, traumatic situations that are happening at the time. Regardless of age, sex, profession, among others (1). The World Health Organization (WHO) defines stress as the set of physiological reactions that prepares the body for action. In general terms, it is a biological warning method necessary for survival. Any change or different circumstance can promote stress in the individual, depending on the physical and mental state of each person. Health personnel are directly affected by the stress caused by work, since they work long hours, providing care to patients who require emotional attention, which makes them especially vulnerable to presenting psychological well-being alterations.
